At Ram-Gear Manufacturing we take pride in our ability to offer a wide variety of machining capabilities,
from turning to milling, treading, drilling, shaping, hobbing, and keywaying. We can handle your machining
needs. We produce quality, with top-notch machinest and years of know how we can manufacture the
finest in replacement parts, and we think that makes us a great value.

            Producing large gears requires a large machine to turn them. Our
      VTL (Vertical Turret Lathe) does the job with a 52" swing and 2 heads
      it has the ability to machine on 2 axis at one time. This machine has
      what it takes to get the job done. Steel, Cast Iron Brass, Plastic, or
      whatever the requirements this machine was made to hog iron.
            It doesn't stop there, with our fleet of lathe we can turn, taper,
      bore and thread as needed. We can handle up to 60" in length.
      Machining shafts is what we do. We produce long pinion shafts for
      many different gear reducers and pumps, like National, Oilwell,
      American, Gaso, Wheatly just to name a few.
